AGM Report - 07/08 Season

A very well attended AGM of Nenagh Ormond RFC took place in the clubhouse in Lisatunny on Thursday 29th May 2008.

In his President’s address, outgoing President Gerard O’Gorman gave a detailed summary of the club events both on and off the playing field over the previous season. He thanked everyone involved in the club for all their efforts over the previous twelve months. Gerard confirmed his own particular highlights for the year were travelling the length and breadth of the country representing the club at many away fixtures and meeting new clubs and building new friendships especially with other senior clubs. Also it was of particular satisfaction to him to see both our U18’s and U/20 teams winning silverware towards the end of the season as these teams will be producing the future senior players for the club.

Raymond O’Meara, Hon Secretary also gave a quick summary of the season gone by while Tom Moylan, Hon Treasurer, gave a detailed overview of the club accounts which show the club in a small surplus position for the season.
