(One of many happy NORFC memories in the Dapp Inn. In 2014 Joe Schmidt was the guest of honour at the Nenagh Ormond Dinner Dance. On the following day he was hosted by Frank, Susan and friends in the Dapp Inn for lunch where the hospitality was outstanding as always.)
End of an Era: It is with a heavy heart that we bade farewell to a much loved institution in the town of Nenagh last weekend. For a great many years the Dapp Inn was a favoured port of call for players and supporters of Nenagh Ormond on the way to and way from adventures with the oval ball. As the saying goes- If walls could talk, those ones would have many stories to tell, of battles fought, games won, yarns told and deeds done.
While it will be missed as a port of call for many club members we can all delight in the many memories made over the long time it was there. Most of all we express our sincere gratitude to Frank, Susan and all the Moloney family for their unwavering support throughout the years as sponsors, friends and most of all hospitable hosts. We wish them a long and happy retirement and look forward to seeing them attending plenty of games of rugby whether in Nenagh or Thomond Park in the years ahead.
Dinner Dance: Thank you to all who helped in making our recent Dinner Dance in the Abbey Court Hotel such an enjoyable night. Firstly to all in the Abbey Court Hotel, thank you for a very enjoyable evening and great service as always. To our special guest Trevor Hogan, thank you for taking the time to be with us but most of all for speaking with such passion about what it means to be a Nenagh Ormond player and how the foundations laid as an underage member in Nenagh can be the key to a whole world of opportunities in the game we love.
To all the committee members and club members who helped out in organising the event, a huge thank you from all in the club. Finally thank you most of all to everyone who took the time to attend on the evening and be there to toast the success of the club in the past season. Occasions such as these are rare and it is important to celebrate our successes when they come around.
Well done to all the award winners on the night and here’s hoping that in the not too distant future we will be able to celebrate together as a club once more.

AGM: The club AGM will be held in the clubhouse in Lisatunny on Thursday the 6th of June at 8pm. All members are welcome to attend. Tipperary.
